Meet Pastor Chedet

As a child Chedet attended Poteau in the Artibonite area, a school with a Trinity HOPE feeding program.  The teachers at Poteau shared the love of Christ while Trinity HOPE provided a nutritious meal daily.  When he wasn’t in school, he held a Bible Club for children and adults in his community.  He often asked God why he was on this earth wondering how he could best serve Him.  Chedet remembered the Bible teaching he received at Poteau and felt led to the community of Piquet.  He is a leader in the mountainous area and serves as their Pastor.  Then Chedet started a school at Piquet and applied for a feeding program.  The prayer was heard and his students are being fed daily.  This next school year he will start a new adventure as a Trinity HOPE Feeding Program Director.

Meet The Kids

  • Neica is 10 years old and rides 1 hour each way to school on the back of a motorcycle. She loves Math and French the most. She said thank you to Trinity HOPE because you give us food everyday.

  • Joseph is 8 years old and love his teachers and his school. Because of Trinity Hope has a good meal every day.

  • Genevive is 12 years old and lives in the North of Haiti. She loves art and wants to be an artist.

  • Philip

    Philip is 18 and ready to graduate high school. He has been fed by Trinity Hope since he was 5. Without a daily meal, he says he wouldn't have been able to make it through high school.

  • We follow the tenets found in the Gospel of Matthew: to feed those who are hungry, in service of our LORD, and go forth and make disciples of all nations. To advance God’s Kingdom, Haiti desperately needs to train up more “servants”. These children attending Christian schools when trained effectively become the little missionaries God calls them to be. They then go home and teach their families what they learned about Jesus Christ in school.

  • In addition to the 37 dedicated Feeding Program Directors and one Haitian Director we employ directly, our programs also support the creation of the following jobs: 

    • 450+ Cooks

    • 16 food vendor companies and their employees

    • Numerous employees in the transportation industry to transport the food.

  • By purchasing all the food we serve from local vendors, we invest over $4,000,000 per year in the local Haitian economy. Adding in the salaries paid for jobs created, we impact and improve the lives of thousands of Haitian families each year. 

  • We believe Haiti must continue to move towards self-sufficiency, striving one day to not need on-going help. Trinity HOPE has trained and developed our Haitian Feeding Program Directors to totally manage the programs in Haiti. We do not have any Americans on the ground in Haiti to run the programs. Each August we bring all the feeding program directors together for on-going training and further development of management skills. tion
